How Domain Reselling Works
ICANN accreditation is the expensive way into this market. It means an application fee, an annual fee, a working capital requirement, audited compliance and direct contracts with every registry whose extensions you want to sell. Most agencies and hosts will never clear that bar — and they do not need to.
Reselling puts you on the other side of that wall. Domain Name API holds the accreditation and the registry contracts; you get a reseller account on top of it. You buy at wholesale, add whatever margin your market supports, and invoice your customer directly.
Operationally, three things matter. Price, because your margin is the gap between wholesale and retail. Coverage, because a customer who cannot get the extension they want goes somewhere that has it. A domain reseller sells domain names using an accredited registrar’s infrastructure instead of its own. You register, renew, transfer and manage domains for your customers, invoice them under your own brand, and never sign a registry contract or go through ICANN accreditation yourself.
The registrar handles registry connections, compliance and abuse handling. You handle pricing, sales and the customer relationship.

Setup takes about 10–15 minutes and needs no technical background.
The account itself is free. There is no activation fee, no mandatory deposit, no minimum balance and no monthly charge. You only add credit when you want to register a domain, and you pay the wholesale price for that domain and nothing else.
Maintaining the qualifying account balance is optional — it unlocks a higher pricing tier immediately instead of waiting for your portfolio to grow into it.
Both individuals and companies can open a reseller account — you do not need a registered business. Individuals provide a national ID number and address for invoicing; companies provide a tax number and registered address.
Every feature and every pricing tier is available to individual resellers on the same terms as companies.

Pricing & profit
Your margin is the gap between the wholesale price you pay and the retail price you set, and you control the retail side entirely. A .com purchased for $10.81 and sold for $14.99 creates a gross margin of $4.18 per domain per year — before payment-processing fees, taxes and operating costs.
The economics come from renewals rather than first sales: a domain renews every year with no new acquisition cost, so a portfolio that is stable is also compounding. Two things move the number — portfolio size, which pushes you into a lower wholesale tier, and attach rate, since the same customer usually needs hosting, SSL and email as well.

DPP rewards resellers whose portfolio grows year over year with registry-backed additional discounts on selected extensions.
DMP provides marketing funding of $1,000–$100,000 to resellers running sales campaigns — Google Ads, email marketing, banner advertising and similar. Both programs are open to resellers at every tier; contact the sales team to apply.
Yes. High-volume partners get custom price lists and a dedicated support plan. Contact the sales team with your estimated annual volume and extension mix for a tailored quote.
Credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, Stripe and Alipay. Multiple payment options make it easier to fund your account from different markets.
Both. You can fund a USD balance by bank transfer to the designated USD account, or with a non-Turkish credit card. Payments made with Turkish credit cards are processed in TRL for regulatory reasons and credited to a separate TRL balance.
Invoices are issued electronically between the 1st and 5th of each month, covering every transaction completed in the previous month, and are delivered by email.
Individual resellers need an ID number and address on file; business resellers need a tax number, tax office name and registered address.

Yes, and the migration service is free at any portfolio size. Unlock the domains at your current provider, send us the list with the EPP/auth codes, and our transfer team runs the batch.
The reason to let us sequence it: transfer approvals go to the admin contact on each domain, which is usually your customer rather than you. We track every approval and follow up on the ones that stall, so transfers do not fail silently.

Yes to both. The REST API, .NET API and PHP API are all supported and all free — there are no licence fees, per-call charges or usage tiers. Every module version can be downloaded from GitHub at no cost.
Yes, free on eligible extensions, at every tier. When it is enabled, the registrant’s name, email address and phone number are hidden from public WHOIS lookups. It is a per-domain toggle in the panel and through the API. Some registries do not permit privacy services, so eligibility is shown per extension.
Not immediately. An expired domain enters a grace period of 7–30 days depending on the extension, during which you can still renew it at the normal price. Email notifications go out before and after the expiry date.
Auto-renew is available per domain and is the simplest way to reduce accidental expirations.
