Throughout 2026, every new .COM registration via Domain Name API will qualify for the .COM Discount Program if it is configured with an email  that has valid MX records, allowing you to earn a discount.

With this campaign:

• If you activate your .COM domain together with an email  that has MX records, you can earn up to 29% discount per registration.

How It Works

1. During each campaign period, all new .COM domain registrations are initially processed at the standard reseller price defined in your reseller group.
2. Add an email service with MX records to the domain (e.g., MailLB, cPanel mail, DNS mail, hosted email).
3. At the end of each quarter, Domain Name API checks how many new .COM domains were registered with MX records during that quarter.
4. The difference between the standard price and the campaign price is calculated based on the total number of eligible domains and is credited to the reseller deposit balance.

Campaign Terms

1. The campaign applies to the first-year registration fee of new .COM domains registered with MX records within each period.
2. Resellers who wish to qualify for the 1001–5000 tier must submit a support request via the reseller panel or send an application to [email protected].
3. The number of domains that can be registered under this campaign within each period is limited. Registrations above the defined maximum volume will be charged at the standard reseller prices of your reseller group.
4. Within each campaign period, .COM domains are first registered at the standard reseller price. After the period ends, if the reseller qualifies for a discounted tier based on the number of registered domains, the difference between the discounted price and the standard price will be refunded to the reseller deposit.
5. For each registered .COM domain, one .XYZ domain will be provided free of charge, provided that it is registered on the same day and is exactly the same as the .COM domain name. For each .XYZ registration, the standard registration fee will first be deducted from the deposit, and the deducted amount will be refunded to the deposit by the 10th day of the following month. 6. Free .XYZ domains will be deleted on day 1 if they are not renewed.
7. If the minimum registration volumes specified in the campaign are not reached with MX-enabled registrations, the reseller will not be eligible for the discount.
8. The domain name must have at least one MX record that meets the following conditions:
   1. MX records that are only added at the DNS level but are non-functional, inactive, or fake do not qualify as Email Attach.
   2. The MX record does not need to be added on the same day as the domain registration. However, it must become active within the same calendar quarter (Performance Period) in which the domain is registered. MX records added outside the relevant period will not be evaluated retroactively.
   3. Domain Name API and Verisign may perform MX and SMTP checks and reserve the right to exclude the domain from the campaign if deemed necessary.

.COM + Email Activation Discount Program FAQ

1) Is there any additional fee to join this discount program?
No. You will not pay any additional fees beyond the standard .COM price.

2) How is the earned discount paid?
It is calculated quarterly and transferred by Domain Name API to your reseller deposit balance under the title “Email Attach .COM”.

3) Do only new registrations count?
Yes. Only new .COM registrations are eligible. Transfers and renewals are not included.

4) Are all MX records accepted?
Yes. The domain must be pointed to an email service (as defined by an MX record). Any valid MX record is accepted.
